Meet the Pony Tail Day Balaclava, a warm balaclava with 3/3 ribbing details and a hole to pull your hair out. Perfect for cold windy winter days, alone or under a bike or ski helmet ! It comes in one size. The finished balaclava measures 18 cm 7,1 inches (from front to back) x 30 cm 11,8 inches (top to bottom) across when laying flat. Yarn & metrage : You can use different combos of yarn. They will give you different drapes and textures but they all are lovely and work wonderfully for the pattern : Option 1 – 100 g / 250 m 3,5 oz / 274 yards aran weight yarn  thick with a bit of drape. Option 2 – 100 g / 250 m 3,5 oz / 274 yards worsted weight yarn + 50 g / 210 m lace mohair thick with a bit of drape and fluff. Option 3 – 100 g / 250 m 3,5 oz / 274 yards aran weight yarn + 50 g / 210 m lace mohair a bit thicker, enhancing the structure, with fluff.
