1. How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your Loose Loop account using one of the following methods:

Option A: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

1. Open the Loose Loop app
2. Go to Settings
3. Tap Account
4. Tap Delete Account
5. Confirm your decision when prompted

Your account will be deleted immediately.

Option B: Email Request

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by email:

1. Send an email to help@thelooseloop.com
2. Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
3. Include the email address associated with your account

We will process your request within 30 days and send a confirmation email when complete.

2. What Data Will Be Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

• Account information - Your email address and name
• Knitting projects - All project data including progress and notes
• Uploaded photos - All images you've added to projects
• Yarn inventory - Your saved yarn collection
• Tools inventory - Your saved needles and accessories
• User preferences - Settings and customizations

This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

3. What Data May Be Retained

In some cases, we may retain limited data as required by law:

• Transaction records - Purchase and subscription history may be retained for up to 7 years for legal and tax compliance purposes
• Anonymized analytics - Aggregated usage data that cannot be linked back to you
• Legal requirements - Any data we are legally required to retain

Retained data will not include any personally identifiable information that can be linked to your account.

4. Deletion Timeline

• In-app deletion: Immediate
• Email request: Processed within 30 days

You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.
