The Sun Kissed Blanket started with the colors. Worked in ten shades from the Sun Kissed palette from Green Letter Day Yarn (@greenletterday), the blanket moves through creamy yellows, melon, orange, fuchsia, and purples in a way that feels like watching the sky change at sunset. Each granny square features a simple diamond motif worked in two colors, and the squares are arranged in a loose clockwise flow that keeps the color changes feeling balanced but still a little random and sparkly. A neutral shade ties everything together and lets the brighter colors stand out. It’s an easy project to settle into, with enough variety to keep things interesting, and watching all the different color combinations come together is honestly half the fun!
