Description
This pretty mini scarf blends several different knitting techniques to create a beautifully textured and versatile accessory. A herringbone lace pattern is combined with double knit and slip stitches for added structure and visual interest. The lace pattern is thoughtfully reversed at the midpoint of the scarf so that both ends visually match. This scarf is knit flat from end. The scarf wraps once around the neck and ties - knit size small for a more dainty scarf that requires just 2 balls (50g) of yarn, or knit size large for a more cozy scarf that requires 3 balls (75g) of yarn. The pattern is also very easy to modify to make it wider or longer. The suggested yarn is a DK 100% cashmere yarn such as Cardiff Cashmere Classic, Lana Grossa Cashmere Pure, or Lang Yarns Cashmere Premium - which are light and airy, have great stitch definition, and are next-to-skin soft, and the pattern is written to maximize yarn usage so you wonโt end up with an awkward amount of leftover yarn, nor end up playing yarn chicken. You may of course substitute with a different yarn if preferred. The PDF pattern includes all the information you need with materials list, yardage calculations, written pattern with clear step by step instructions, charts, project diagram, stitch descriptions, and abbreviations/terminology key.
